In English，Faith means belief，but it is different from belief，it has the connotation of blindness。
就是faith这一个字啊，在英文是「信」或是「信心」的意思，但是呢，他却有一个很特殊的意义，由于宗教的关系，他代表了盲信，也就是说完全不加以思考，这样子。
That's why when I translate Buddhism into English，if I can do it，then I would avoid faith this word。
所以我在翻译英文的时候呢，「信」这个字呢，我尽量不要翻成faith。因为会被人家误解，你知道？很容易，因为洋人所认知的faith是一种盲信性，是一种不可置疑的信心，这样子。
ok，You are obligated to obey the Christian doctrines，In Christianity you are obligated to obey the Christian doctrines。
在基督教里面呢，你有责任要遵从基督教的教条。
Even divested of the right to question。
甚至于呢，就取消了你问问题的权利。
Utterly，reduced to blind faith。
就完全把你置于盲信的境地之中。
For to question any inconsistency，or contradictions in the doctrine，or the deeds of God。
因为如果你去置疑或是质询吶，他们教条中的任何的不一致，或是自相矛盾，自相抵触的地方，或是神的行为的自相矛盾的地方。
which are in abundance。
而这些却是很多的。
which is deemed an egregious sin。
这样子的你去置疑神的意旨以及神的行为，而这些可以被置疑的这些事情是很多的，你如果作这样子的置疑的话，就会被认为是极大的罪恶。Egregious sin，极大的罪恶。Egregious是极大的意思。
deserving Eternal Perdition。
这一种这个极大的罪恶呢，是会被判为永恒的下地狱。Perdition是下地狱。
Now I need to expand the various，inconsistencies or contradictions，in Christianity。
我现在就是要来发挥，详细的讲一讲，基督教里面种种的不一致的，比如言行不一致的，教条里面互相抵触的事情。
Such as，contradiction one。
第一个矛盾，抵触或是矛盾，Contradiction是矛盾的意思。Contradiction one，第一个矛盾。
lf God is really Almighty...。
这些我是用自己写的，我是在讲之前才写的，所以没有办法写讲义了。
All these are hand written before this class，So....just before this class，So，I don't have the poster，I just read it from the paper，If God is really Almighty...
假如上帝真正是全能的，Almighty，全能有三个讲法，英文里面。Almighty是一个，那这Almighty常常是大写，全能的上帝，Almighty。或是Or all-powerful，or omnipotent，这是拉丁文。
It comes from Latin，Omni- is all，-potent is power，All-powerful，If God is really Almighty。
假如上帝真正是全能的。and all-knowing，all-knowing，全知，所以全知全能的上帝。
Why didn't he annihilate Satan at one stroke？
那为什么当初他不一举之下，就把撒旦给消灭了呢？
Why did he just run him down to the verge of hell？
为什么他只是把他打到地狱的边缘，而没打死掉？
Knowing that Satan was going to cause all the troubles for God and man。
假如他是全能而且全知的话，那么他应该知道说，撒旦将来会为上帝本人以及为人造成很大的困扰，很多的麻烦。
As he could not annihilate Satan，hence he is not all-powerful。
因为他不能消灭撒旦，因此呢，他就不是全能，他如果全能，他要消灭撒旦应该易如反掌，是不是？
As he could not foresee all the troubles that Satan was going to bring about。
因为他不能预知撒旦将来要作的所有的一切麻烦事啊，要引起的，产生的一切的麻烦事，他不能预知。
Hence，he is not all-knowing。
因此呢，他不是全知的，所以他一来不能预知将来要碰到的麻烦，二来他没有能力消灭撒旦，所以他不是全知全能的上帝，应该说他是无知无能了。
Contradiction two，第二个矛盾。
In Christianity，contradiction two，第二个矛盾。
If the apples in Eden Garden，were not meant to be eaten，by either Adam or Eve。
假若伊甸园中的苹果不是要给亚当或夏娃吃的。
why did he plant it there？To lure them into sin。
为什么他把那一个苹果树种在那里，来引诱他们犯罪。这个等于是上帝陷人于不义。
It is like a scheme to intrigue somebody，somebody into crime or sin，So，why God plants the apple tree，in Eden Garden？It can only be said it is a scheme，to intrigue Adam and Eve into crime or sin。
既然那个苹果不让他们吃，为什么要把苹果树种在那里？那就是要陷人于不义，要害他们嘛，对不对？引诱他们去吃。
I have an example，In my high school days，some of my teachers are very austere，when we take examinations in the class，for the monthly test，And the teacher would be very serious，and check everybody all the time。
我有一个故事啊，就是在我高中的时呢候，我有老师，他在监考的时候很严格，然后就一直盯着所有的学生，就让你动弹不得。
But occasionally，there is one or two very clever teachers，and who would pretend，not to be very serious about checking，and they would pretend to look other place，and they would look at what？Look at the doors，and there are glasses on the door，So they look at the door，and at the images reflected by the glass，and all the students in the class，are reflected in the glass，you know？
有些老师呢，他就很聪明，他就假装没有在监考一样，很轻松，然后他就看别的地方，他看哪里呢？他看那个门，打开了，门有上有玻璃，玻璃会反光，所有的学生的影像都在里面反射出来。
So，they pretend to look elsewhere，and instead of looking at the students，And when somebody is stupid enough，and not to take care，and so they try to cheat in the examination，And the teacher looks in the glass，and knows who is going to cheat，And so，when he just in the action of cheating，and producing something the book，or cheat sheet，and looking at it，and at that moment，the teacher would be like an Eagle，and fly very quickly，directly to the student，and catch him right handed。
所以有些学生不知道啊，他就偷看书啊、偷看小抄啊，然后，老师就装作不知道，就看那个门呐，然后，当学生已经把小抄拿出来在看的时候，或者是把书拿出来在看的时候，老师就忽然了噢，就很警觉的，像老鹰一样，老鹰捉小兔一样，就「呼」就跑到了学生那门口，他的地方，就把他的小抄给抓住了。
So，this teacher is very sly。
Sly 就是狡黠啊，狡黠，狡黠。
And so，the God in Eden Garden，is also like this teacher，He is very sly and he does not look，to keep you from cheating，but he wait for you to cheat，and then catch you。
所以，神在伊甸园里面也是一样，他不是要盯着你，不让你作弊，而是假装他很放松，等到你作弊的时候就把你给逮住了，就很狡黠。
OK，so l would say at that juncture，God was playing a joke on Adam and Eve。
说，我要说，上帝呀，就好像对亚当跟夏娃开了个玩笑一样，跟他玩游戏，这样子。
So，And hence in doing this，God is being unjust and mischievous，to Adam and Eve。
所以呢，在作这个事情的当中呢，也就是栽植了一个苹果树，让那个苹果树还开花结果，让亚当夏娃就咬了苹果了以后，然后就把他逮住了，然后就判他有罪，那他就犯了一个，上帝这个时候就是unjust。
You are given to know that this word，「Just」or 「Justice」 is the most important word in Christianity。
你必须要知道，汝等当知，在基督教里面最重要的一个字就是Just，正义或是公义。
And they claim that，God is the manifestation of Justice，And what he does is all for Justice，OK。
所以，大家要知道，正义是基督教里面最重要的一个字，而上帝所代表的就是正义，他所作的事情就都是正义的。
And even when he punishes people，he is fulfilling Justice。
当他在惩罚人的时候呢，他是在实行正义。
So，this word follows through the laws of the Western countries。
所以，这一个Justice这一个字呢，就从基督教的起源开始呢，一直到达现在为止的所有的法律都是要支持这个所谓的正义，所以赏善罚恶，对不对？当然，上帝的宗旨里面，只有罚恶没有赏善。所以当上帝在罚恶的时候，惩恶的时候，就是他在执行正义，你知道吗？所以，甚至于他在杀人的时候也是在执行正义。所以，司法，我们翻成司法，英文就叫Justice。乃至于司法官也叫Justice，司法院也叫Justice，就是司法，我们中国人称为「天道」，他们成为上帝的正义，这样子。这个联合起来很有意思欸，中国人称为「天道」或是「天命」，所谓天命不可违，对不对？西洋一样的，上帝的正义，也就是上帝的意旨就是正义。上帝的意旨，God's Will，或是上帝的正义God's Justice 。
They are equal，God's Justice equals to God's Will。
所以上帝的意旨，他心里面所想的，他想要作的，就是正义。就好像天道，天道没有什么，天道就是天命。天命是什么？就是天的意思，老天爷的意思，所以，这都是一种神秘主义，你知道吧？Ok。所以，中国人一提到说，老天爷的主意——天命，没有人敢吭一声，是不是？对不对？现在也许有人会敢吭了，但是也不敢吭到底啦，对不对？因为天命不可违。
So，in doing this，God is being unjust。
在作这个事情，也就是说陷亚当与夏娃于不义呀，「陷人于不义」或「陷人于不仁」都是一样，都是不公正的。and mischievous，Mischievous就好像小孩子爱捉弄人呐，Mischievous，捉弄人的。
to Adam and Eve。就是在捉弄亚当跟夏娃，捉弄他们而且对他们不公正。对不对？为什么？既然不可以吃，你为什么种在那里，对不对？这是一点，还有，所以这个就是。
So，this is the contradiction，the contradictory point，IIf it is not meant for them to eat，then why did you need to plant it there？
好，Contradiction three，第三个矛盾。
In the Bible，it never says that，God decrees or commands Adam and Eve，not to eat the apple。
在圣经里面，圣经的《创世纪》，第一章《创世纪》，Genesis里面，从来没有说上帝下令或是命令亚当及夏娃不可以吃那个苹果，没有这么说。
Nor does he warn them-against，the allurement of Satan。
而且他也没有警告他们要抵御或是注意撒旦的诱惑，「所以不要被他骗啦！」也没有。
Since God never teaches-and never，gives warning to Adam-and Eve。
因为上帝从来没有教导，而且也没有警诫亚当跟夏娃。
Hence，he just deals our punishment without teaching。
因此呢，他等于就是只是作出惩罚而没有教导。也就是说什么呢？不教而杀，不教而杀在中国称为「不教而杀谓之虐」。
If a master punishes without teaching，he is called a cruel and merciless Master。
假如一个 master，一个主人呐，他只惩罚，但是他并没有教导，没有教导就惩罚了，他就被称为是一个残酷不仁的主人。
rather than a merciful-Lord。
而不是一个仁慈的主。
In Chinese idiom or maxim。
「不教而杀谓之虐。」
「To kill without teaching or forewarning，it is called maltreat or abuse？」
因为我把这一个成语翻译的，我觉得还不错，所以跟你们分享一下，写下来。To kill without teaching or forewarning。forewarning就是事先警戒，提前警戒。
It is called maltreatment。
Maltreatment 就是虐待，abuse也是虐待。
Therefore，God is so self-willed and disrespect everybody。
不尊重任何人。
Therefore，he kills without teaching or forewarning。
所以，他没有教导也没有预警，就把你杀了。
So，in this case，if one kills or punishes without teaching or forewarning，then he is really unjust，ok。
假如一个人他不教而杀，那么这个人是不正义的人，没有正义感的人，所以。
In this explication God does not stand for Justice，Aactually，in so doing，he is the manifestation of unjustice。
而事实上呢，他在这样作的时候，他其实是不公、不正、不义的显示。所以他不是正义的，他是非正义的显现，ok？
So，it is contrary to the understanding of people。
所以，这跟大家所认知的是完全相反，完全相反的。
Contradiction four，第四个矛盾。
If God could not protect his Masterpiece creation of Adam and Eve，and the Garden of Eden，by precluding Satan's entrance into it。
假若，上帝没有办法保护他的杰作。什么杰作呢？也就是亚当夏娃是他的杰作，对不对？他的创造的杰作，以及伊甸园也是他的杰作，他不能保护他，保护他的杰作，三大杰作，怎么保护呢？就是禁止或是不令撒旦进入。
God is neither all-powerful nor all-knowing。
那么，上帝其实是并非全知也非全能。
If he is all-powerful，then he can prevent Satan from entering。
假如他是全能，那么他就有办法不令撒旦进入，对不对？
If he is all-knowing。
假如他全知的话，那么他就会知道撒旦会来作这一档事，对不对？
So，in this analysis，God would look rather ignorant and impotent。
所以在这样的分析之下呢，就可以显见上帝其实看起来是相当的无知以及无能了。
OK，ignorant and impotent。
Impotent重音在第一个，是无能的意思，另外一个字大家比较知道，important是重要的，一个是有r一个没有r，一个是a结尾，一个是e结尾，有没有？不一样，这个念错了就麻烦了。念impotent，无能的，这个无能包括各种无能，知道吧？生理的跟心理的，还有结婚生子方面的也是用这个字。 Sexual Impotence，性无能。
Contradiction five。第五个矛盾。
if the biting of the apple could bring light of wisdom or knowledge to Adam and Eve。
假若，咬苹果一口，可以为亚当跟夏娃带来智慧或知识之光。
It should be a desirable and wonderful thing to happen。
那应该是一个非常好而且棒的事情，会发生这样的，应该是很好的吧。咬了一口苹果结果就变成有智慧了，对不对？这很好嘛，而且很便宜，是不是？这个跟武侠小说里面说吃了一口千年灵芝，然后就武功增加了一百年，那个很好嘛，是不是？
And so，why should it be a sin or even the Original Sin？
这如果这样看的话，为什么这咬了一口苹果却变成是一个罪恶，而且甚至于是一个原罪？Original Sin。
Why is God so averse to wisdom and knowledge？
为什么上帝这么反对智慧跟知识呢？你们知道亚当跟夏娃没有咬苹果之前是怎么回事儿？两个人就坐在那里没事儿嘛，对不对？真的没事儿，什么事也没干呐。然后，这咬了一口苹果以后才发现，第一件发现什么？他没穿衣服，没有穿衣服，所以赤身裸体，所以看到自己的下体就很惭愧，然后，两个人就赶快去抓了无花果树的叶，遮住了。所以，你看看，所以愚痴到这种地步，简直是白吃。
So，Adam and Eve before biting on the apple，they were so ignorant as to be without the knowledge of their being nakedness，their being naked。
在他们咬苹果之前呢，他们这么无知，无知到他们不知道他们自己赤身裸体。
And only on biting in the apple，suddenly，it beam or it dawn on them the light，that they see that they are naked，and so they hurriedly to get a leaf，to cover their body，the important part。
就是遮住他们身体上重要的部位。
And that I would say the first Bikini。
最早的比基尼装。
So，why is God so averse towisdom and knowledge？And if Adam and Eve as the masterpiece of God's production。then why did he create them so stupid，as not to know that they are naked？
如果亚当跟夏娃真是上帝的杰作，为什么他把他们造成这么的愚痴，甚至于不知道他们自己是赤身裸体的。
And if they don't know that they are naked，then can you say that they will do anything intimate？
假如他们都不知道自己赤身裸体，那你想想，他们会去作任何亲昵的动作吗？
I would say they are so imbecile，that they would not do it。
他们是这么的白痴，idiotic，他们连亲昵的动作都不会作了，对不对？so they are，这些都是白痴的意思。
So，now you know，why the computer Apple is called Apple，and in their logo，the apple has been bitten on one crack。
为什么苹果电脑是一个苹果然后咬了一口，那个就是说，那个苹果如果没咬一口是没有智慧的，咬了一口才有智慧，你知道吗？但是咬了一口就是犯了上帝的天条大罪，OK？
Is it because if only they could be kept ignorant，it would be easier for him to put them under control？
那是不是因为他把他们保持在愚痴无知的那个境界，因此呢，对他来讲就比较容易控制，比较容易掌控，对不对？无知、愚痴就容易掌控。
And easier to make them believe and obey him unconditionally forever。
那能够掌控呢，所以也就比较容易令他们相信他而且服从他所有的教条，无条件的永远的服从，因为无知嘛。
Hence，could we deduce to say that God is the first autocrat who initiates and applies the people-fooling policy？
因此呢，我们可不可以这样推论说，上帝是头一个独裁者，他创造了而且使用了愚民政策。
This is what the Emperor of Qin has done。
这就是秦始皇所作的事。
He burned down almost all the learnings，all the books and even slaughtered Confucius scholars，420 scholars，without any sin，without any crime，not just slaughter，he buried they alive。
这就是秦始皇所作的，他焚书坑儒，「坑儒」是什么意思呢？就是把420个儒生，儒家的学者活埋了。没有犯任何罪，就是因为他们有学问，把他活埋了。
So，he burned all the books so that people cannot learn，cannot become wise，And because they are unwise，and they are kept ignorant，so they don't have the knowhow and wisdom to go against him，even to make protestations。
因为他把所有的书都烧了，所以，人民就没有办法去接触学问，增长智慧。因此呢就愚痴，愚痴就不懂得怎么样去对抗他、反对他，也不能够抗议，不知道怎么抗议，只有服从。
So that the Emperor of Qin is not the singular one，the Christian God is just like him。
所以，秦始皇不是唯一的，基督教的上帝就是跟秦始皇所作的一样。他是愚民政策的喜爱者，这样子。推崇者。
which is exactly the opposite of what the Buddha has done。
而这种愚民政策呢，正好是跟佛所作的是完全相反。
whose only purpose in his teaching is to enlighten and liberate people，for their own benefits and self-esteem。
佛所作的教法，在他的教法里面唯一的目的就是要开觉以及解脱所有的人，令他们都得到利益，以及得到自尊。
Rather than deliberately keep them in the Shroud of lgnorance。
而不是故意的、有意的把他们罩在无知，Shroud 是盖棺材的那块布，以前就是黑布啊，所以就是用黑布蒙蔽。Ignorance就是无知，无知的罩布啊，把众生给蒙蔽起来。所以，佛世师尊所要作的就是要揭开众生的这一个无知的罩布，令众生复见光明，OK？
so as to fool and goad them，thereby to fulfill his own unlimited will 。
所以呢。佛所作的就正好跟上帝所作的相反，而不是故意的、有意的去把他们罩在无知的罩布底下，因此就可以愚弄而且驱使他们。Goad 是驱使，是 drive 的意思，Goad 就是好像马鞭一样，驱使。
Thereby to fulfill his own unlimited will。
就是上帝把他们罩在无知的罩布底下，就可以愚弄而且驱使他们，以便达到他自己的无尽的意愿，无尽的意愿，上帝自己无尽的意愿。
好，以上是The above is the contradiction five in Christianity。
Contradiction six。第六条矛盾。
Even if Adam and Eve's biting the apple does enrage God。
纵使亚当跟夏娃咬了一口苹果，这件事情真正地会令上帝震怒。
and he would call it an unforgivable sin。
而他会把它称为是不可饶恕的罪恶。
He still could not blame or incriminate all the other human beings，who at that time had not been born。
即使上帝震怒了而把他们说成，他们犯了不可饶恕的罪恶，即使是这样子，他也不能够责怪或是迁怒其他所有的人。那些人呢，在亚当夏娃那个时候还没出生，为什么？因为亚当夏娃的时候还没有成为夫妇，所以还没有人类产生，是不是？他们一直要到被逐出伊甸园以后，他们才真正圆房了，你知道吗？听得懂吗？他们才圆房，在伊甸园里面的时候，还没有学到怎么样圆房啊。出去以后他可能是互相慢慢的研究摸索才找到门径。
and could never punish them for the sin which he call the Original Sin。
因为所有的人类，在那个时候除了亚当、夏娃以外都还没有出生。但是上帝在那一些还没有出生的人，即使他们还没有出生，上帝已经把他们都定罪了。定成什么？定成他们都犯了原罪。而且呢，而且就决定要惩罚他们，就是在一并惩罚之列，这样懂吗？因为是你的祖先，亚当夏娃犯的罪，所以你的子子孙孙全都是同罪，全都同罪了。不管你出生还没出生，当然都还没出生啦，全都同罪了。因为你的祖奶奶、祖爷爷犯了这个罪，我不可以忍受，这个是不可饶恕的，所以一体同罪，这样子，OK。
So，this is so-called the Original sin。
所以这就被称为所谓的原罪，原罪的意思就是最初的一条罪叫做原罪。而这个原罪的罪其实是没什么罪，是不是？咬一口苹果有什么了不起，是不是？咬一口苹果能够产生智慧，那是荒谬的，对不对？
If a bite on the apple could produce knowledge and wisdom，it would be ridiculous，And if it really can produce knowledge and wisdom，then the American people would be the wisest people in the world，And also the Japanese can also be the wisest，because they have many apples，right？And even in Shandong，Shandong Province，they have also very good apples，So the Shandong people are also wisest，right？
所以山东人也应该是很有智慧，因为他们有很多苹果。
But this is ridiculous。
所以这个是很荒谬的。是不是？
So that's why God is ridiculous，right？Biting on the apple can produce wisdom，If it is that easy，then that's very good，But actually，it is not so，so，it is illogical and invalid。
所以呢，如果说咬一口苹果可以产生智慧，那就太好太简单了。但是事实上，并非如是。所以呢，在逻辑上、在因明学上呢，这个是不通的，「此宗不极成」，不能成立。

Why is Buddhism the Best？
「为什么佛法最棒？」
